Powder Room Remodel
This powder room remodel was a personal project. I created a redesign with the outline being a "swanky, moody powder room with personality." This is a simple project that is meant to display some of my own personal style when I think of the descriptions; "swanky", "moody", and "personality."

The goal was to create a space that includes a darker color palate and balances a decent amount of light and patterns. I wanted gold to be the pop of color while the rest of room prioritized black, white and gray. For the purpose of visibility, I made sure to keep the sink and toilet standard white and placed sconces near the amenities.

Pictured below is the floor plan and elevations of the powder room. The room is a simple 6' x 6' to help showcase my style in a smaller environment.
I decided to go with gold embellishments to make the space luxurious and a means to reflect light, given the space is darker. I wanted to incorporate a mixture of patterns but was finding my previous combinations too busy so I decided to include a semi- busy tile as the flooring and a "louder" wallpaper for some of the walls. I decided to break up these patterns through the use of wall wainscot. The molding on the wainscot also includes a gold trim.
